Photo Spiva

Two of my pieces, Houseguest and The Renunciate, will appear in the exhibit PhotoSpiva 2012. This exhibit takes place in Joplin MO. For unfortunate reasons, Tuscaloosa and Joplin are “sister” cities of sorts, both having suffered deadly tornadoes last spring/summer.

Intimacy and Voyeurism: The Public/Private Divide in Photography

My work appears on the RayKo Photo Center website as part of the SPE exhibit “Intimacy and Voyeurism: The Public/Private Divide in Photography.” The image “Houseguest” is also being used for the exhibit postcard. The exhibit was juried by Todd Hido, some one I greatly admire, so this is very meaningful!

Volume III of Diffusion magazine is now available—and it looks awesome! My work is featured, along with that of Becky Comber and Kate Stone, in an article about re-photographic processes. The editor, Blue Mitchell, does a fantastic job on this. There is so much great stuff packed into this magazine—with minimal advertisements! They can be ordered from the onetwelvepublishing website.
