Artist Talk, MSU, Tuesday, March 19th, 2013
I met with a wonderful group of Dom Lippillo’s photo students at MSU yesterday, where I gave an artist talk. They had such great questions! It was quite enjoyable. Thanks all!

Suburban Sublime at MSU
I’m having a showing of my Suburban Sublime project at Mississippi State University through the month of March. The reception falls in the middle of the run, March 21, from 4—6pm. Not an optimal time and a bit far away, but if you happen to be in the neighborhood, I’d love to see you.

New Work

Solo Exhibition: Museum of Art, University of Southern Mississippi.
Hollis Hammonds and I will be having simultaneous solo exhibitions at the Museum of Art at The University of Southern Mississippi, in Hattiesburg, Miss. If you are attending SPE in late March, or live in SF, be sure to check out the photo exhibit: “Voyeurism and Intimacy” at the RayKo Photo Center. I’m excited that my image “House Guest” was chosen for the postcard! http://raykophoto.com/voyeurism-intimacy-the-publicprivate-divide-in-photography/

Photo Spiva
Two of my pieces, Houseguest and The Renunciate, will appear in the exhibit PhotoSpiva 2012. This exhibit takes place in Joplin MO. For unfortunate reasons, Tuscaloosa and Joplin are “sister” cities of sorts, both having suffered deadly tornadoes last spring/summer. http://www.photospiva.org/l12/

Intimacy and Voyeurism: The Public/Private Divide in Photography
My work appears on the RayKo Photo Center website as part of the SPE exhibit “Intimacy and Voyeurism: The Public/Private Divide in Photography.” The image “Houseguest” is also being used for the exhibit postcard. The exhibit was juried by Todd Hido, some one I greatly admire, so this is very meaningful! http://raykophoto.com/
